Jervis Campbell Inglewood Concert reviews
Headbanging to GRS? ... no shame!
Last Friday night, thank you Jervis Campbell for an amazing performance. Attending this concert once again fired up my love for music and inspired me to push myself more with my own playing. You know you are sitting in an amazing concert when you start headbanging to Gershwin's "An American in Paris". The Jervis Campbell was nothing less than phenomenal. But it was amazing to hear a professional orchestra play amazing literature. At first I was excited to see An American in Paris and then Vivaldi's Four seasons, but now I am unbelievably stoked to see the Four Seasons. Being only a second year sophomore at Central, I am always used to hearing the collegiate level ensembles. At the end of the concert, I turned and looked at my mother who was sitting next to me and said, "I want to play in an ensemble like this when I graduate." March 22 cannot come soon enough!
